A Star Is Born

On Monday night, after a long and very painful struggle with downswing-drome, I finally lost the battle. I was pronounced bust on both Stars and Full Tilt. I decided another online cash injection would only feed the beast that has consumed my soul. I am looking forward to my re-incarnation.

In poker internet forums everywhere I am reading similar stories. Young successful pros are giving up poker to pursue life. I haven’t met a single player who believes the games aren’t becoming harder and less profitable. The simple fact is, I believe I can make more money doing something more interesting.

In the early years 2003-06, I would never have dreamed of doing anything else. Poker was the greatest thing since sliced turkey. ‘Things done changed’ – Notorious B.I.G

So what to do now? Well, I was looking at getting a part-time job while at uni. My interest in film and sheer hatred for most things else led me to apply for work as an extra in film and television. I got a call from my ‘agent’ the other day and I’m all set to become a huge star. I was told they are hiring for Nicolas Cage’s new film in Sydney.

If you see me around and I give you the big snub, please understand I’m in showbiz now and much more important than you.

I will, however, need an entourage, apply within:
