NOT apologising for taking a few weeks off writing this blog.

I have been terribly busy with an old friend from out of town. He’s quite a character really, he travels around visiting poker players he knows. Sometimes he stays for a day, other times he stays for a month or two. This particular time, he stayed with me for 6 weeks. Most people misunderstand him and take a disliking to him as soon as he arrives. I have to admit, I was one of these people. But, during the weeks he was living with me, we enjoyed countless discussions which ran well into the early hours of the morning. He taught me a lot about poker and life.

During one of these chats, I figured out that I shouldn’t go back to the Philippines. I also figured out that while I can write a film, I shouldn’t base my main source of income around it. I don’t want to go into too much detail cause nothing is certain, however, I’m on a new track.

Three days ago he finally left. His living expenses made a dent in my bankroll, however, since he’s gone, I’ve managed to make some of it back. If you’re wondering who this friend is, simply play poker long enough and you’ll get to meet him one day. I guarantee it.
